Today's post is a Minnesota Twins alternate, from 2010, complete with the 2010 Inaugural Season of Target Field patch. This hat was previously the team's road cap, but was regulated to alternate status upon moving to Target Field. The Twins, however, are yet to wear this cap in 2010 or 2011. This particular hat is size 7 3/8, and has been worn many times, as the Twins are my favorite team.

Boston Red Sox Home/Road Hat
On this day in 1920, the New York Yankees purchased Babe Ruth from the Boston Red Sox for $125,000. The purchase was announced on January 5th, 1920. Thus, the Curse of the Bambino was born. In 2004, the curse was reversed. The Boston Red Sox won the World Series, ending the 86-year curse. Today's post is a replica of the hat the Red Sox wore when they finally won the World Series. It has been worn by Boston as the home and road cap since 1979. This particular hat is well worn, with quite the sweat marks. It is replica, adjustable.

Nebraska Cornhuskers Home Hat
With the college baseball season starting this past weekend, I decided it was time to post a college baseball hat. The first hat, a Nebraska Huskers red hat. This hat is red with the skinny N logo, and the Huskers wordmark on the back. The Huskers have worn red caps at home for just about as long as they have played baseball, though white caps have been worn at home, often as alternates. Last season, the Huskers switched from New Era to Addidas for their official hat supplier, so this cap is technically out of date. This is a size 7 1/4 hat.

Baltimore Orioles 1989-97 Hat
Today's post is a Baltimore Orioles hat. It was worn by the O's from 1989 to 1997, both at home and on the road. The Orioles' jerseys during this time period underwent several minor changes, but the cap remained the same until 1998, when it was replaced with a new oriole logo. This hat is size 7 1/4.

Arizona Diamondbacks 2001 Home Hat
Today's hat is an Arizona Diamondbacks purple home hat, worn from 1998 to 2006. This particular hat is from the 2001 season, with the official 2001 World Series patch on the left side. This was the first and so far only World Series won by Arizona. It is fitted, size 7 1/8.

Bmac's Hats Returns
After a long time of working on new ideas and voting on new names, a decision regarding the future of Bmac's Hats has been made. It stays, as Bmac's Hats. Three new names were up for voting, along with the option of keeping Bmac's Hats as it is. The final option won by a single vote, after two separate rounds of voting. Bmac's Hats stays the name, but the layout and method of sharing the hats will be a little different. Stay tuned for the first hat under the new system.
